Considered by the likes of Heston Blumenthal as the best eating beef in the world in his book In Search of Perfection, Richard and Liz Gunner went to extraordinary lengths to bring this breed to Australia in the form of embryos imported from the UK. Now we have the only significant stud herd in Australia. This product really is extraordinary. An old fashioned and slower maturing breed, the flavour is beefier and beautifully suited to dry aging. We use every part of the animal so look out for pies, stocks and even hides.
