Easter Feast!ng

Whether you're getting family and friends together or packing the tent to take the kids camping we have a few tips to help you make the most of the long weekend.

Chocolate for Breakfast!
Don't let the kids have all the fun eating Easter Eggs for breakfast, get in on the action with our Newbury & Watson Chilli Chocolate Bacon. The perfect way to add a little extra indulgence to your Sunday breakfast or brunch!

Hams - not just for Christmas!

One of our cracking award winning bone in hams is ideal if you're catering for a large group and particularly handy if you have a few days of entertaining lined up. Ham off the bone can be used in so many different ways, helping you create breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners. Make life easy with a serve-yourself ham carvery and salad bar.

Going camping?
We have a few ideas if you are lucky enough to be camping where there are no fire restrictions. Many of our Newbury and Watson smallgoods can be dropped into a billy of water in the bag they are packaged in after you have pulled off the labels, as they are cooked already and just need reheating. Cooking them this way will ensure they don't dry out. Think about cheese kranskies, vienna sausages or hotdogs - fast and tasty.

If you have a grill to place over the fire make sure you pick up a butterflied leg of lamb. A butterflied leg will cook more evenly and faster that a thicker piece of meat. Our Saltbush Lamb is just the thing. A butterflied leg is also easier to carve and serve when you are low on ‘bench space’ and knives, just rest it on a chopping board for around half the time it took to cook and slice it up. If you don’t fancy washing up (who does?) think about having the lamb go into a wrap, yiros style, with sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and a dollop of tzatziki. Delicious and no dishes. Perfect.

Of course we have all your standard camping BBQ fare as well - sausages, bacon, patties. Talk to your Feast! staff about their recommendations and tips!

Whatever you have planned, we can help you with your Easter Feast at Feast! and as always, if there's something specific you're looking for - just ask!
