Sausage Making Class
Our Sausage Making Classes provide participants with the opportunity to learn how to make a variety of different flavoured Sausages under the guidance of our award winning Sausage makers. The classes generally run for approximately 3.5 hours and are held at The Adelaide Central Market Kitchen.
"Sausage Making Class" ($140)
Our "hands on" Sausage Making Class takes you through the whole process of creating a great tasting Sausage. During the class, you will get to watch and assist in creating Traditional and Gourmet Sausages to learn the techniques used. Our main format Sausage Class ($140 a ticket) is very hands on, allowing participants to also create their own personalised flavoured Sausage from scratch, with 2kg of this variety to take home. Also includes 1kg of Pork & Fennel Sausages, 1kg of English Pork Sausages and a $25 Feast! store voucher. This is a more intimate class which allows for one on one tuition during the Sausage Making process and plenty of time to ask questions!
"Introduction to Sausage Making Class" ($70)
We also have a special "Introduction to Sausage Making Class" ($70 a ticket) where this class has more focus on demonstrating the different processes that are required to make a Sausage. This class includes watching as one of our butchers 'breaks down' a whole pig carcass and then prepares and minces the Pork Shoulder, which is commonly used for Sausage Making. Participants will then have input in creating their own flavoured Sausage as a whole group, where each participant will get 1kg of this newly created variety to take home. Also includes 500g of Pork & Fennel Sausages and 500g of English Pork Sausages.
